Chad Rowell, Pastor

Pastor Chad is a native of Trenton, Georgia, and a man called by God to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He surrendered his life to full-time Christian service when he was 14 years old. He was not certain of the direction God would lead him but was encouraged by many to utilize the voice God had given him. Chad was hired at a local radio station in Trenton, AM1420-WKWN. While there, he had the opportunity to utilize his voice but also to listen to a multitude of preachers proclaim God’s Word faithfully. This experience along with Scripture, family, and friends was used by God to confirm the desire for him to preach.

Since accepting the call, Chad has preached God’s Word in many different settings including Sunday worship services, Wednesday night Bible Studies, small group meetings, missions trips, and revivals. Chad’s desire is to boldly proclaim the Word of God to a lost and dying world and to rely upon the Holy Spirit to touch and change lives.

Chad earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Berry College in Rome, Georgia in May 2010. In May 2014, Chad earned a Master of Divinity degree with concentrations in preaching and biblical languages at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. In December 2014, Chad married the love of his life, Lauren Ruth Moody. He is honored to serve as pastor at First Baptist - Princeton and is excited about what God has done and will do in the future.
